Project One: Paper-Litho-Transfer process using Xerox and/or Digital Laser output. Experimentation with layering and materials encouraged.
Project Two: Use (3) processes to create a variable edition of (5) prints. Continue to play with material and printing process to find new ways of working. What you discover on this print will become your stepping stone for the next project. Due Wed. Feb. 21st !! Critique
Project Three: Creating and Presenting a print. Using at least one of the photo-processes demonstrated so far create an edition, true or variable, of (5) prints. If you have knowledge of other photo-mechanical processes (silk-screen etc. . ) feel free to use those. One, or all, of your prints must be presented in some manner that best reveals the print to the viewer. We are looking at the structure of the presentation as much as the structure of the print itself. Due Wed. March 5th !! Critique |
